The geometrical similarity search is a search and comparison algorithm used for detecting and comparing CAD parts. With CADENAS’ MultiCAD interface technology, the technology is available to all CAD systems. The goal of the geometrical similarity search is to be able to find similar or equal parts in a nearly unlimited parts master under an intuitive user interface (Independent in which 3-D CAD format the dataset is located, independent of descriptive texts and parts naming of used CAD systems and languages).
